DPU Rector Kızıltoprak: We aspire to train Syria's teachers

Speaking at the "Communication Summit" organized by the DPU Communication Society, Rector Kızıltoprak said, "We have discussed this with our dean.

We aspire to train Syria's teachers. As a new Syria is being built, we have the capacity and expertise to train teachers in various branches such as art, mathematics, language, physics, and history. We are determined to continue these activities," he stated.

"HOSTING 8 THOUSAND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS"

Rector Kızıltoprak reminded that their university provides education to more than 8 thousand international students and stated that they will continue to develop special projects with Syrian students. "We have been relatives with Syria since time immemorial. We will strengthen this bond by following in the footsteps of Süleyman Şah and Evliya Çelebi," said Kızıltoprak, drawing attention to the importance of cultural and historical ties.

Emphasizing that the university fulfills not only its academic but also its humanitarian and moral duties, Rector Kızıltoprak noted that in this context, faculty members from the Domaniç Vocational School, the Faculty of Education, and the Faculty of Fine Arts are taking an active role in projects involving Syrian students.

Thanking the students, academics, and colleagues in his speech, Kızıltoprak said, "I wish for our country to be greater, our society to be happier, and our region to be more peaceful in the new year. Together with our academic team, we will continue to carry out these works of the heart," he concluded.
