Edirne's famous liver chef passes away; his brothers had died one after another

Bahri Dinar, the 63-year-old president of the Edirne Promotion and Tava Ciğer Quality Protection Association and a beloved figure who contributed greatly to the promotion of Edirne, has passed away.

Dinar, who was found unresponsive in his bed by his wife in the morning, was determined to have died of a heart attack.

The brothers of liver chef Bahri Dinar, Nazmi Dinar (68), had passed away in February due to a heart attack, and Bahattin Dinar (65) had died in a workplace accident in the Uzunköprü district on Thursday.

Liver chef Bahri Dinar was laid to rest following a funeral ceremony held at the Old Mosque (Eski Camii) after the afternoon prayer. Many citizens who attended the funeral could not hold back their tears.

Famous actor Kenan Çoban, remembered for his role as Abdülhey in the TV series "Valley of the Wolves" (Kurtlar Vadisi), said, "We woke up to very sad news this morning. He was a close friend of mine. Bahri brother was a treasure. He was known as Liver Chef Bahri, but he has left us heartbroken. My condolences to our Edirne and our Turkey."
