Family physician dies by suicide due to Bitcoin
It has emerged that the doctor who died by suicide at a shooting range in Diyarbakır had suffered significant losses in Bitcoin.
According to the information obtained, Doctor G.Ç. (33) arrived at a shooting range located on Urfa Boulevard in the Fırat neighborhood of the central Kayapınar district, placed a handgun to his head, and fired.
Upon notification of the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that the doctor had lost his life.
The funeral was held after the autopsy procedures were completed.
It was learned that G.Ç., who worked at the Silvan Yolarası Family Health Center, had visited the same shooting range yesterday as well. It also emerged that G.Ç. had shared on his social media account yesterday that he had suffered a high amount of loss in Bitcoin.
His followers commented expressing their sadness.
