Family tragedy in Sakarya: Family members kill each other

Family tragedy in Sakarya: Family members kill each other

The incident took place at the Hantek Residences located in the Akova neighborhood of the Hendek district. According to allegations, a fight broke out within the family due to assets.

During the fight that broke out inside the house on the second floor of the residences, Mevlüt Çelik killed his stepmother Melek Çelik and his biological father Vahdettin Çelik with a firearm he had with him.

Selçuk Çelik, who arrived at the scene after hearing about the situation, began to fight with his older brother Mevlüt Çelik, whom he encountered in the middle of the street.

KILLED WITH A SHARP OBJECT

During the fight, Selçuk Çelik killed Mevlüt Çelik with a sharp object. Meanwhile, a bullet fired from Mevlüt Çelik's weapon wounded Selçuk Çelik in the shoulder.

Upon notification of the situation, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the region. After the initial intervention, Selçuk Çelik was taken to the hospital.
