Fire at a seedling facility in Antalya! Flames spread to greenhouses
A fire that broke out at a seedling production facility in Gazipaşa, Antalya, was brought under control thanks to the rapid intervention of emergency teams. While there were no casualties, the fire caused material damage.
A fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined at a facility located in the Gazipaşa district of Antalya. Upon notification, numerous fire department units, water tenders from the Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Due to the wind effective in the region, the flames also spread to some greenhouses near the facility. The fire, which was brought under control through the intervention of the teams, caused damage.

Gazipaşa Deputy Mayor Necdet Ali Şirin told reporters that the fire started suddenly and spread in a short time.
Stating that they believe the fire originated from the electrical installation, Şirin noted that material damage occurred in the fire, which the teams intervened in immediately, and that it was fortunate there were no casualties.
Cooling efforts by the teams are ongoing at the facility.
