A fire broke out for an as-yet undetermined reason in an abandoned wooden building located on Çankaya Street.
Upon notification, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Firefighting efforts are ongoing at the abandoned building, which is surrounded by wooden houses and trees.
Reinforcement firefighting teams were also sent to the area by sea from Maltepe and Kartal.
