Fistfight after traffic accident
Abdullah Coşkun, who was injured in a fight between drivers following an accident involving two cars in the Keşap district of Giresun, could not be saved despite being taken to the hospital. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
In the Keşap district of Giresun, 68-year-old Abdullah Coşkun lost his life in a fight that broke out following a traffic accident that occurred in the morning hours. The incident took place around 11:00 AM at the Karakoç junction on the Black Sea Coastal Road in the district's Fındıklı neighborhood.
TWO VEHICLES COLLIDED, ARGUMENT BROKE OUT BETWEEN DRIVERS
Abdullah Coşkun, who was traveling from Giresun towards Trabzon, lost control of his car with license plate 28 ADE 196. Coşkun's vehicle struck the car with license plate 61 ADL 995, driven by I.İ., which was in front of him. The collision caused material damage to the vehicles. Following the accident, an argument began between the two drivers. However, the argument quickly turned into a fight.
During the fight, Abdullah Coşkun collapsed to the ground due to the blows he received. Bystanders who witnessed the incident immediately notified health and police teams. Health teams dispatched to the scene provided initial intervention to Coşkun. Coşkun, who was then taken by ambulance to Giresun Training and Research Hospital, lost his life despite all efforts by the doctors.
PROCEEDINGS INITIATED, SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident, I.İ., was taken into custody by police teams. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
