Good news regarding Dilek, who had been missing for 38 days
Dilek Çakılkaya, who had been sought everywhere as a missing person for 38 days in Adıyaman, has been found in Gaziantep through the efforts of police teams.
16-year-old Dilek Çakılkaya, a 10th-grade high school student living with her family on 2128th Street in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood of central Adıyaman, left home 38 days ago saying she was going to school.
Teams from the Child Protection Bureau of the Adıyaman Provincial Police Department took action for Dilek Çakılkaya, from whom no word had been heard since. It was determined that Dilek Çakılkaya, who was being sought everywhere, was in Gaziantep and working at a cafe.
Upon this development, the Adıyaman Child Protection Bureau teams contacted the Gaziantep Provincial Police Department and, as a result of their coordinated efforts, found Dilek Çakılkaya. Taken to the police station and having her procedures completed there, Dilek Çakılkaya was placed in a local dormitory to be handed over to her family.
Her mother, also named Dilek Çakılkaya, who had been searching for her daughter for 38 days, expressed her gratitude to the Adıyaman Child Protection Bureau teams, Provincial Police Chief Cihat Dağdeviren, and everyone who contributed to the effort. It was learned that the mother, Dilek Çakılkaya, will travel to Gaziantep to pick up her daughter, Dilek Çakılkaya, from the dormitory.
