Governor's Office issues statement regarding individual seen in women's clothing around school

In a statement made via the Burdur Governor's Office's X account, it was stated that an investigation was launched by the Provincial Security Directorate following social media posts claiming that a man was dressing in women's clothing and wandering near children at school dismissal times.

The statement, which identified the individual as H.Ç., included the following remarks:

"Following posts made on social media platforms stating that 'a person is dressing in women's clothing, going near children at school dismissal, and watching them, let's be careful,' and within the scope of the work initiated by our Provincial Security Directorate;

It was determined that the individual in question is a person named H.Ç., and the individual was apprehended by our officers. Upon an assessment during the interview that the individual was suffering from a psychological condition, the person named H.Ç. was referred to the Antalya Training and Research Hospital on 20.04.2024 under the coordination of our Provincial Health Directorate and accompanied by an official for necessary treatment procedures, and has been admitted.

Our services, carried out with sensitivity for the peace and security of our public, will continue with determination."
