Happened for the second time in a month: Worker tortured by being blasted with compressed air

In a horrific incident in the Göynük district of Bolu, four workers caused serious injuries to a colleague by blasting him with compressed air.

According to allegations, four workers at a power plant in the district caused a major danger by blasting compressed air into the rectum of a worker identified as Ö.K. Following the incident, the worker fell ill and was rushed to the hospital by medical teams.

WORKER HOSPITALIZED

Following the incident, medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. After providing initial intervention, the medical teams transferred the severely injured worker to Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital. Examinations revealed that the worker's colon had ruptured, and he was taken into emergency surgery. It was announced that Ö.K.'s condition is stable and his treatment is ongoing.

ONE PERSON TAKEN INTO CUSTODY HAS BEEN ARRESTED

As part of the investigation launched by the gendarmerie, four workers were taken to the police station. After questioning, three individuals were released, while the worker who blasted the compressed air at Ö.K. was detained. The suspect was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the duty magistrate.
