Comprehensive measures are being taken to prevent stubble fires during the harvest season in Çanakkale. Teams from the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry are working in cooperation with village headmen and producers to ensure that water tanks are kept ready in the field alongside combine harvesters. Additionally, it has been made mandatory for all combine harvesters and balers to carry at least two fire extinguishers.

Officials from the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry stated, "We are in the field 24/7. We are making maximum efforts throughout the harvest season in cooperation with the Agricultural Organization, the Forestry Organization, village headmen, and our producers. It is mandatory to have at least 2 fire extinguishers on combine harvesters and balers."
