The incident occurred in the Kızılcıklı neighborhood of the Nilüfer district in central Bursa. According to the information obtained, M.A. (30) and N.Ö.A. (26), who had been experiencing severe marital discord for a long time, had begun living separately.

M.A., who had left the house, took his belongings and moved in with his mother. M.A. arrived in front of the house where they used to live together around 02:00 at night.

HE BURNED THE SHEETS AND SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE

Seeing that there was no one in the house, M.A. set fire to the sheets inside. The sheets, which caught fire in a short time, engulfed the entire house. All the apartment residents, who did not know what was happening in the middle of the night, were evacuated. As smoke filled the entire building, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

HE CALLED HIS WIFE AND TOLD HER THE HOUSE WAS BURNING: YOUR HOUSE IS BURNING, GO SAVE IT

While flames filled the inside of the house, M.A., who threw himself outside, called his wife, who wanted to divorce him, on the phone and said, 'Your house is burning. Go save it.' The Nilüfer Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau teams, who arrived at the scene, caught the suspect M.A. red-handed shortly after the incident while he was fleeing.

RELEASED WITH JUDICIAL CONTROL!

M.A., who was taken to the police station, was released under judicial control by the court after his procedures were completed.

Stating that both he and his wife have pacemakers and that they barely saved their lives, the upstairs neighbor Süleyman Hancıoğlu said, "We woke up to the noise around 2-3 at night. His wife wanted to separate, the husband did not want to separate. He burned the house and is running away. When the smoke came out, we couldn't get out either. My wife and I have pacemakers. We couldn't get out at all. Since everyone was groggy with sleep, no one knew what to do. The whole building was filled with smoke. The building is not in a condition to be lived in. We were being poisoned. I suffered the most damage."
