In the Kapaklı district of Tekirdağ, a man shot and killed his son with a hunting rifle following an argument. The perpetrator was taken into custody by police teams.

He shot and killed his son with a hunting rifle

According to the information received, an argument broke out for reasons yet to be determined between N.Ş., who lives in the Atatürk neighborhood, and his son H.Ş.

As the argument escalated, H.Ş. left the house, and his father, N.Ş., fired at him from the balcony with a hunting rifle. H.Ş. was shot in the back. Upon notification by those nearby, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

H.Ş., who received initial intervention by medical personnel, lost his life at the Çerkezköy State Hospital, where he had been taken.

The father, N.Ş., was apprehended with the hunting rifle he used.
