He shot and killed his wife after an argument and fled

The incident occurred around 12:00 in the Kuştepe neighborhood of Şişli. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Yılmaz U. and his wife, Gülcan U., for reasons yet unknown.

As the argument escalated into a fight, Yılmaz U. shot his wife with a firearm he had with him and fled. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

While police teams took security measures on the street, medical teams transported Gülcan U. to the hospital by ambulance after providing initial intervention.

Despite all interventions, Gülcan U., who was taken under treatment, could not be saved and lost her life. Police conducted a forensic examination at the scene. Following the examination, the woman's body was taken to the forensic medicine morgue.

Following the investigation, police teams launched a large-scale operation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
