He shot his father whom he saw buying alcohol at a kiosk
In the Birecik district of Şanlıurfa, a 16-year-old child shot and wounded his father after seeing him buying alcohol at a kiosk.
According to the information obtained, 16-year-old H.K., who was walking on the street, saw his father, Hüseyin K. (37), buying alcohol at a kiosk.
An argument over alcohol broke out between H.K., who entered the kiosk, and his father, Hüseyin K.
It is alleged that the father, Hüseyin K., slapped his son, who opposed his purchase of alcohol. H.K. went home, took a gun, and returned to the liquor store. H.K. called his father outside and shot him.
The wounded father received initial medical intervention from citizens in the vicinity and police teams that arrived at the scene.
While it was learned that the father, who was taken to Birecik State Hospital by an ambulance called to the scene, is in critical condition, the 16-year-old child was taken into custody.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
