He shot the brother of the girl he went to ask for in marriage
In the Kocasinan district of Kayseri, one person was injured in an armed fight that allegedly broke out during a marriage proposal visit.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on 102nd Street in the Kayabaşı neighborhood, where an argument broke out for an unknown reason between Y.T., who had gone to ask for a girl's hand in marriage, and her family.
As the argument escalated, Y.T. opened fire with a pump-action shotgun he had brought with him, shooting F.G., the brother of the girl he had come to ask for.
TOOK REFUGE IN A NEARBY HOUSE
While F.G. was injured by pellets hitting his back, Y.T. fled and took refuge in a nearby house. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured F.G. was taken to Kayseri State Hospital by ambulance after receiving initial intervention at the scene, while Y.T. was apprehended and taken into custody by police teams along with the weapon used in the crime.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
