Traffic inspections were carried out by Ankara Police Department teams as part of Eid al-Adha measures. The teams conducted inspections on Konya Road and Mevlana Boulevard, where traffic density is expected due to the Eid al-Adha holiday.

During the operation, which involved the participation of the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate teams, drivers' documents were checked, and warnings were issued regarding seat belts and vehicle safety.

Providing information about the inspections, Mehmet Kemal Karakaş, Deputy Chief of the Ankara Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate, stated that necessary precautions have been taken throughout the city, particularly on main arteries.

Stating that they provide reminders to citizens at inspection points regarding safe driving, Karakaş said, "We are conveying our warnings, especially about performing vehicle checks before setting off and taking a 10-minute break every two hours. We also remind drivers that traveling outside of peak hours is important for driving comfort."

Motorcycle police teams on duty on Turan Güneş Boulevard also warned drivers and passengers heading out into holiday traffic to be careful. The teams offered chocolates and candies to citizens.

It was reported that the inspections will continue uninterrupted throughout the Eid al-Adha holiday.
