Holiday rush at AŞTİ: Additional services and security measures increased
The high demand from those wishing to spend the holiday in their hometowns or vacation spots has led to increased congestion at the Ankara Intercity Bus Terminal (AŞTİ), prompting bus companies to add extra services and security measures to be tightened.
Citizens wishing to spend the holiday in their hometowns or vacation spots are causing congestion at the Ankara Intercity Bus Terminal (AŞTİ).
Following the increase in passenger demand, bus companies have organized additional services, while security measures at the terminal have been raised to the highest level.
Citizens are being admitted to the terminal after undergoing body searches and luggage checks at the entrance.
To ensure security and order at AŞTİ, a total of 320 BUGSAŞ employees, consisting of 250 security personnel, 50 cleaning staff, and a 20-person automation team, are on duty.
