Horror in İzmir: Father stabs and kills his son following an argument over bringing a dog home!
A young man who was stabbed by his father in the Gaziemir district of İzmir has lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.
In İzmir, a father stabbed and killed his son following an argument.
According to the information received, M.D. argued with his son, Ahmet D. (21), at their home in the Aktepe neighborhood for reasons yet to be determined.
During the incident, which escalated into a fight, M.D. wounded his son Ahmet D. with a knife from the house and then went to a coffeehouse near his home with the weapon used in the crime.
Upon the notification of citizens at the scene, police and medical teams arrived and transported the severely wounded Ahmet D. to the Gaziemir Nevvar Salih İşgören State Hospital, but the young man could not be saved.
The father, M.D., who locked himself in a restroom upon seeing the police at the coffeehouse, was taken into custody.
It is alleged that in his initial statement, the father said he constantly argued with his son and that the final argument arose over the issue of bringing a dog into the house.
