Husband shoots wife, father-in-law shoots husband

The incident occurred at midnight on 4164 Şehit İsmail Dağ Street in the Fatih neighborhood. According to the information obtained, R.O. (30), who had recently quarreled with his wife, wanted to speak with his wife, Fadimana Ok, who had moved into her father's house.

After the woman refused to meet, R.O. went to his father-in-law's house and waited in his vehicle for his wife to come outside. Seeing his wife exit the apartment building with her father, M.A., R.O. got out of the vehicle and opened fire on his wife with a handgun.

As the woman collapsed to the ground covered in blood, her father drew the handgun from his waistband and opened fire on his son-in-law. While the woman and her husband were wounded, neighborhood residents who heard the gunshots immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams that arrived at the scene in a short time provided the first intervention to the wounded couple on the ground.

Subsequently, Fadimana Ok, one of the wounded who were taken to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital Emergency Department by ambulance, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost her life.

Her husband, R.O., who was seriously wounded, was taken under treatment, and it was learned that he is in critical condition. While police teams conducting an investigation at the scene have launched a search for the father-in-law, R.A., who fled the scene, an investigation into the incident has been initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
