Midibus carrying students plunges into a ditch
A midibus carrying 22 students, 2 teachers, and a driver, which was returning to the Ortaca district after a trip to Antalya, plunged into a ditch on the Göcek ramps after the driver lost control of the steering wheel due to rainy weather.
The midibus with license plate 48 ARJ 588, driven by İbrahim Kara and carrying 22 students and 2 teachers, lost control due to rainy weather as it reached the Göcek ramps and rolled into a ditch.

Upon notification by citizens who witnessed the accident to the Muğla 112 Emergency Call Center, numerous ambulances from Fethiye, Dalaman, and Ortaca, as well as Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Fethiye and Dalaman fire department, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.

NO LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES
It was learned that there were 2 teachers, 22 students, and a driver in the vehicle, and the injured were transported to Fethiye, Dalaman, and Ortaca State Hospitals. It was reported that the injured students do not have life-threatening injuries.
It was learned that the group of students involved in the accident had gone on a trip from Ortaca to Antalya and that the midibus they were in crashed while they were returning.
