Minor who ignored 'stop' order hits police officer with motorcycle
In the Alanya district of Antalya, a 16-year-old who failed to comply with a police 'stop' order at a checkpoint struck an officer with his motorcycle. The minor, who attempted to flee on foot after abandoning the motorcycle, was apprehended 30 meters away.
The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Ahmet Tokuş Street in the Güllerpınarı neighborhood of Alanya. According to information obtained, while a general inspection was being conducted on the street, 16-year-old S.Ç.B., who did not comply with the police's 'stop' order, struck a police officer named Fatih N. with his motorcycle.

S.Ç.B., who then began to flee on foot, was apprehended shortly after, 30 meters away. The injured police officer received initial medical intervention from his colleagues. Health teams arriving at the scene transported the injured officer to Alanya Training and Research Hospital.

The detained minor was taken to the Alanya Police Department's Juvenile Bureau after undergoing a health check at Alanya Training and Research Hospital. It was learned that the police officer Fatih N., who was injured in the accident, is in good condition.
