The incident occurred around 22:00 on Alemdar Street in the Hocacihan neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district. According to information obtained, an argument broke out for an unknown reason at the workplace between M.A., who operates a liquor store, and his acquaintances, Raziye H. (the mother) and her daughter, Nazlı H.

As the argument escalated into a fight and spilled outside the workplace, M.A. fired a pump-action shotgun at the legs of the mother and daughter. Upon notification by bystanders, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The mother and daughter, who received initial treatment at the scene, were taken to the hospital by ambulance, and it was learned that they are in good condition. The suspect, M.A., was taken into custody by police teams along with the weapon used in the crime.

Footage of the incident was captured by a citizen's mobile phone camera. The footage shows the mother and daughter being shot and falling to the ground, as well as the initial intervention by medical teams.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
