Neighbor dispute between women ends in murder
In Düzce, a woman shot and killed her neighbor during an argument.
The incident occurred around 18:15 on Necmettin Erbakan Street in the Konuralp district.
According to the information received, a woman identified as S.B. shot her neighbor, Özlem Alcan, who lived in the apartment next door, 3-4 times with a firearm following an argument.
Subsequently, S.B. called the police and stated that she wanted to surrender.
Police and medical teams arriving at the scene determined that Özlem Alcan had lost her life, while S.B. was taken into custody by police teams.
The body of Özlem Alcan, who fell victim to the murder, was taken to the Council of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
