Passerby woman becomes target of gunfire
In Elazığ, a woman passing by was hit by gunfire during an armed altercation between two groups.
The incident occurred on Şehit İlhanlar Street. According to allegations, an argument broke out between two groups for an as-yet-unknown reason. During the incident, which escalated into a fight, one of the parties fired a weapon they were carrying.
A bullet fired from the weapon struck a woman who was passing by at that moment.
Upon notification by citizens, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Following initial intervention at the scene, the injured woman was taken to the hospital and placed under treatment.
Police teams have launched an investigation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
