Sad news from the Pençe-Kilit region

According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, Specialist Sergeant Cebrail Acar was martyred in an attack in the Pençe-Kilit region. 2 terrorists were also neutralized.

In the statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense (MSB), the following expressions were included: "We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."

The sad news was delivered to his mother Yüksel and father Cevat Acar, who reside in the Cahı neighborhood of Konya's Ereğli district, as well as his wife Hanife Acar, who lives on the same street.

While a Turkish flag was hung at his parents' house, relatives came to the home to offer their condolences.

The funeral of the martyr Acar, who was a father of 2, is expected to be held today.
