Some public transport lines in Istanbul will be free tomorrow: Here are the lines
Due to the anniversary of the liberation of Istanbul, some public transport lines will provide free service on Monday, October 6.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) will offer free travel on certain public transport lines on Monday, October 6, 2025, to celebrate the liberation of Istanbul. Those who wish to benefit from this service must use a personalized Istanbulkart.
However, there are some lines where the free transport service does not apply.
These lines include the Adalar, Beyoğlu-Taksim Nostalgic Tram, Karaköy-Beyoğlu Tünel, SG-1 Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Kadıköy, SG-2 Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Taksim, 139 Üsküdar-Şile, and 139A Üsküdar-Şile/Ağva VIP lines.
