They drew weapons and threatened police teams: First released, then detained after appeal

The incident occurred last night on the Bartın-İnebolu highway in the Cide district. According to the information obtained, teams from the Cide District Police Department went to the port area following a report.

T.D. and M.E.D., who were at the scene of the report, resisted the police teams that arrived for unknown reasons. During the ensuing scuffle, one of the individuals drew a weapon on the police teams, while another threatened them by saying, 'I've marked you.'

Subsequently, a large number of police teams were dispatched to the area. T.D. and M.E.D. were taken into custody by the police teams that arrived at the scene.

During the scuffle initiated by the individuals, police officers M.H.M., G.M.D., and S.G. were slightly injured by blows to various parts of their bodies. The two detained suspects were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. The individuals were released on the condition of judicial control.

DETAINED AGAIN UPON APPEAL

Following the release of the individuals, the Public Prosecutor's Office appealed the decision.

Following the appeal, a new detention warrant was issued for the individuals.

T.D. and M.E.D. were detained again by police teams. T.D. and M.E.D., who underwent a health check at Cide State Hospital, were taken to the Cide District Police Department. It was learned that the individuals would be referred to the courthouse again after their procedures.
