Tourism professional Büyükdemirel dies by suicide after asking acquaintances for forgiveness
In the Alanya district of Antalya, a tourism professional died by suicide with his firearm at his workplace. It was learned that he had sent a message saying 'Please forgive me' to many people registered in his phone contacts.
The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at a workplace in the Mahmutlar neighborhood. Upon hearing a gunshot, those who entered the room at the workplace found the owner of İmparator Emlak, tourism professional Ali Büyükdemirel (55), lying motionless on the floor covered in blood.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Checks by the medical teams determined that Büyükdemirel had lost his life. The gendarmerie's investigation determined that Büyükdemirel died as a result of a single gunshot wound from a handgun.
Büyükdemirel's body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy following the prosecutor's examination. While the investigation is focusing on the suspicion of suicide, an inquiry into the incident has been launched.

"NO ONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY DEATH"
It was stated that a note was found on Büyükdemirel's desk at his workplace, which read, "No one is responsible for my death. Let them bury my body in the cemetery in Kargıcak, and let my funeral condolences be held in front of my workplace. I have no debts to any institution or person." It was also learned that Büyükdemirel had sent a message saying 'Please forgive me' to many people registered in his phone contacts via the WhatsApp application.
