Tragedy at a dam lake in Hatay: Father and his 4 children drown

The names of the foreign national father and his 4 children who lost their lives by drowning in a pond in Hatay have been identified.

The lifeless bodies of the father and his 4 children, who drowned in the DSI pond located in the Çatalhüyük neighborhood of the Kumlu district, were recovered by teams from the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Underwater and Surface Search and Rescue and the Police Underwater Group Command.

The bodies of the individuals were taken to the Reyhanlı State Hospital morgue following an investigation at the scene.

It was learned that the foreign nationals identified at the hospital were the father, Ahmet Hacabdo (46), and his children, Muhammet, İbrahim, Abdo, and Hamit Elmeri.

Furthermore, it was determined that the children were 6, 8, 18, and 21 years old.
