Tragedy in Mardin: 3 people die after car falls into irrigation canal
Three people in a car that fell into an irrigation canal in the Derik district of Mardin have lost their lives.
The car with license plate 47 AAS 210, whose driver's identity has not yet been determined, fell into an irrigation canal in the Kovanlı area.
Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health, fire department, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
Harun E., Resul D., and Kadir D., who were in the car, lost their lives in the accident.
The bodies of the 3 people, which were recovered from the car by the teams, were taken to the morgue of the Mardin Training and Research Hospital.
The vehicle was removed from the irrigation canal with the help of a crane.
