Tragic accident in Antalya! 2 young people lost their lives

The accident occurred around 13:30 on the Antalya-Kemer road, at the entrance of the second tunnel after passing Büyük Çaltıcak. According to the information obtained, two motorcycles traveling at high speed in the same direction collided with a car that was attempting to switch to the left lane. Due to the impact of the collision, the motorcycles and their riders were thrown onto the road.

Mustafa K. (21) and Aden Nisa B. (18), who were on the motorcycle with license plate 32 AEY 140, lost their lives at the scene. M.Ö.D. (20) and E.E. (18), who were on the other motorcycle, as well as S.A. (33) and S.A. (23), who were in the car, were injured in the accident.

Upon notification, Gendarmerie, traffic police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances. The bodies of the two young people, who were determined to have lost their lives during the checks by medical teams, were taken to the hospital morgue.

In the footage captured by a dashcam after the accident, the sight of the motorcycles scattered on the road and the injured lying on the ground revealed the severity of the crash. While an investigation into the accident has been initiated, the car driver was taken to the police station to provide a statement.
