Truck crashes into police vehicle responding to accident
Four people, including three traffic police officers, were injured after a truck crashed into a police vehicle responding to an accident on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep (TAG) Highway.
Two trucks with license plates 72 ABH 459 and 33 CML 19, traveling in the same direction, collided near the Gaziantep West toll booths on the TAG Highway.
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon notification.
During this time, a truck with license plate 73 AAR 704, whose driver did not notice the accident, crashed into the vehicle of the police officers who were responding to the incident.
The three traffic police officers injured in the accident and one person from the truck with license plate 33 CML 19 were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.
The highway, which had been closed to traffic in the direction of Adana due to the accident, was reopened after approximately two hours of work by the teams.
