Two cars collide: 5 people lose their lives

In Samsun, a disaster occurred when a driver lost control of their vehicle and crossed into the opposite lane. 5 people lost their lives in the horrific accident where two cars collided.

The car, which was traveling from Samsun towards Ordu, crossed into the opposite lane after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. At that moment, it collided with another car. The vehicles were practically torn apart with a loud noise.

As a result of the impact, 5 people in both vehicles lost their lives. 

IDENTITIES OF THE DECEASED HAVE BEEN DETERMINED

In the tragic accident, driver Zekeriya, his wife Gülcan, and their child Emirhan Ateş from the same family, as well as the driver of the other vehicle, Taner Aydın, and Aydın Aydın lost their lives.

Efforts were initiated to rescue the citizens who died after being trapped in the vehicles, which were reduced to scrap metal in the accident. The bodies were removed from the vehicles as a result of the work of fire department teams and taken to the Çarşamba State Hospital Morgue. It was learned that 4 of those who died in the accident lost their lives at the scene, while driver Taner Aydın passed away at the hospital.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
