It has emerged that the police officers who were dismissed and arrested from the Adana Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch had deleted the recording of a prosecutor who was caught on a wiretap.
Two police officers serving in the Adana Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch were taken into custody and subsequently arrested.
New details have emerged in the investigation conducted into the incident.
According to a report by Ali Pekmezci from Objektifa.com, it is alleged that the reason for the two officers' arrest was that they 'deleted the audio recording from transcripts of wiretaps related to an operation.'
THE AUDIO RECORDING BELONGED TO A PROSECUTOR
It is claimed that the audio recording in question belonged to a prosecutor who served in the past and was later demoted.
