Ülkü Ocakları President wounded in armed brawl in Sakarya
Sapanca Ülkü Ocakları President Emirhan Kabalak was hospitalized after being shot during an armed brawl in the Sapanca district of Sakarya.
The incident occurred on Çarşıiçi Street in the Rüstempaşa neighborhood. According to information obtained, a dispute broke out between the local branch president, Emirhan Kabalak (28), and an individual identified as S.K. in front of the Sapanca Ülkü Ocakları building.
During the incident, which escalated into a fight in a short time, S.K. opened fire on Emirhan Kabalak with a firearm.
Wounded Kabalak was taken to Sapanca State Hospital after receiving initial intervention from medical teams that arrived at the scene.
It was learned that Emirhan Kabalak, who was subsequently transferred to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital, is not in life-threatening condition. Police teams have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspect, who fled the scene following the incident.
