No news for 6 days from university student Rojin who went missing in Van
Six days have passed since 21-year-old Rojin Kabaiş, a student at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ), went missing. As search efforts for the young woman continue, her grieving father could not hold back his tears while watching footage of the moment he said goodbye to his daughter at the dormitory gate.
Rojin Kabaiş, a first-year student in the Preschool Teaching Department at the Van YYÜ Faculty of Education, came to Van from Diyarbakır after enrolling at the university. Kabaiş has not been heard from since she left her dormitory on September 27 to go to the shores of Lake Van after eating dinner.
According to the footage captured by cameras, the young woman was seen video-calling her mother on the way and then shopping at a kiosk before reaching the shore, where she sat on a bench for a while and watched the lake.
Rojin then went out of the camera's view and has been missing ever since.
While police teams continue their extensive efforts to find Rojin, the anxious wait of the young woman's family and friends continues.

Her grieving father, Nizamettin Kabaiş, who is closely following the search efforts, could not hold back his tears while watching the footage at the dormitory gate where he said goodbye to his daughter for the last time.
