Vehicles on ferry collide with each other. Giant waves cause material damage
Due to a storm affecting the Sea of Marmara, dozens of vehicles on the Yalova-Yenikapı ferry were damaged after being struck by waves and colliding with one another.
According to the information received, the İDO ferry departing from Yalova to Yenikapı was caught in the middle of a sudden storm in the Sea of Marmara.
The ferry, which set off at 15.45, completed its normally 1-hour voyage in approximately 2 hours.

Passengers experienced moments of fear during the storm. Vehicles on the ferry, caught between the waves, collided with each other.

MATERIAL DAMAGE OCCURRED TO VEHICLES IN THE FIRST TWO ROWS OF THE FERRY
Giant waves caused material damage to the vehicles in the first 2 rows at the front of the ferry.

As the ferry docked in Istanbul's Yenikapı, the passengers, who had experienced moments of terror at sea, breathed a sigh of relief.
