Verdict reached for older brother who beat his sibling with a stick and wounded him with a handgun

The incident occurred around 08:30 in Turgutalp Neighborhood, Kiraz Street. The older brother, Bülent G. (54), who was walking on the street, encountered his brother, physical education teacher Erdami G. (52), with whom he had a long-standing feud.

An argument broke out between the brothers. The argument suddenly turned into a fight. During the fight, the older brother began hitting his sibling with a stick. The enraged brother then dropped the stick and fired at his sibling with the handgun he was carrying.

Erdami G., who was struck by a bullet in his right leg, was wounded. The injured man was taken to İnegöl State Hospital by an ambulance dispatched to the scene.

The suspect brother surrendered to the police teams that arrived at the scene. It was learned that in his statement, the suspect Bülent G. said, "We have had family problems for many years. We ran into each other on the street, argued, and fought. I fired to protect myself."

The suspect was arrested by the court he was brought before. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
