In an incident that occurred on August 29 in the Kozan district of Adana, 70-year-old Hüseyin Başak, who was beaten by his landlord Yener Rüzgar and his wife Nurhan Rüzgar, fell ill at his home and passed away. It was learned that the fight broke out over a 500 TL rent dispute. Following the incident, teacher Yener Rüzgar and his wife Nurhan Rüzgar were arrested and sent to prison.
Tonight, the house belonging to the Rüzgar family in Savruk Plateau began to burn for a reason yet to be determined. The flames, which illuminated the night, were extinguished by the intervention of 3 fire trucks from the Kozan Forest Management Directorate and Kozan Municipality fire crews before they could spread to the surrounding forest areas. The cause of the fire will be determined by the investigation launched by the prosecutor's office.
