Martyred baby Bedirhan's non-commissioned officer father assaulted
Non-commissioned officer Serkan Karakaya, who lost his wife and 10-month-old baby Bedirhan Karakaya in an attack carried out by PKK terrorists in Hakkari, has been assaulted by a group.
On July 31, 2018, in the Yüksekova district, Nurcan Karakaya and her 10-month-old baby, Mustafa Bedirhan Karakaya, were martyred when an improvised explosive device previously planted by PKK terrorists on the road detonated while they were returning home by car from a base area where they had visited her husband, non-commissioned officer Serkan Karakaya.
The martyred mother and her baby were laid to rest side by side in the Şarkışla district of Sivas.
Serkan Karakaya, who lives in Kayseri, was allegedly assaulted by his neighbors following an argument.
The moment of the incident was captured on a mobile phone camera.
