Worker dies after being electrocuted
In the village of Kahyalar in Karabük, 53-year-old Ahmet G. lost his life after being electrocuted while changing an insulator on an electricity pole and subsequently falling.
In the village of Kahyalar in Karabük, around 16:30, Ahmet G. climbed an electricity pole and was electrocuted while changing an insulator, falling to the ground from a height of approximately 10 meters.
Gendarmerie and medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene for the severely injured worker. Ahmet G., who was taken to Karabük Training and Research Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life.
