Young girl dies after iron gate falls on her

According to information obtained regarding the incident that occurred in the Çivril district of Denizli, an iron gate fell on 8-year-old Asya Değirmenci while she was playing with her friends. Upon the cries for help from her friends who saw the little girl trapped under the fallen gate, bystanders notified the 112 Emergency Call Center.

COULD NOT BE SAVED

Asya Değirmenci, who was pulled from under the gate, was transported to Çivril State Hospital by medical teams. After receiving initial treatment at Çivril State Hospital, Asya Değirmenci was transferred to the University Hospital in the city center. Despite all interventions by doctors there, the little girl lost her life. Asya Değirmenci's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

Meanwhile, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu published a condolence message for Asya, whose father is a staff member of the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. In his message, Mayor Çavuşoğlu stated, "I have learned with sadness that Asya Değirmenci, the daughter of our colleague Ramazan Değirmenci, has lost her life as a result of an unfortunate accident. I wish God's mercy upon our child, and offer my condolences and patience to her family, loved ones, and relatives."

LITTLE GIRL LAID TO REST

The young girl who lost her life in the incident was laid to rest at the Çakmak Cemetery today following the funeral prayer held at the Hilal Mosque after the noon prayer, following the completion of autopsy procedures.
