"Aynı Yağmur Altında", broadcast on ATV, caused a wide stir on social media with its second episode. A dinner scene in the series, which stars Nilsu Berfin Aktaş and Burak Tozkoparan and whose story extends from London to Istanbul, drew reactions from viewers.

THE PORK SCENE BECAME A HOT TOPIC

In the second episode, the character Tülin, played by Mine Çayıroğlu, having pork prepared for a table where Fazilet, a Muslim family member, and her relatives were present, caused intense criticism on social media. While the scene quickly became a trending topic, claims of an "early finale" for the series were also raised.

SCREENWRITER CHANGED

According to information obtained by Odatv, the series' screenwriter has been changed. However, no official statement has been made by the channel or the production company regarding whether this change is linked to the controversial scene or the ratings performance.

PLUMMETED IN RATINGS

The series, which aired its first episode last week, finished the day in 10th place in the total viewer category with a rating slightly above 3 percent. It held the same ranking in the AB group, but the rating ratio could not approach the 2.5 percent level.

In the second episode, the decline continued. In the total viewer group, the rate fell to around 2.5 percent. In the AB category, the rating dropped to around 1.80 percent.
