1st Alanya International Tropical Cocktail Competition held at NoxInn Deluxe Hotel

The 1st Alanya International Tropical Cocktail Competition was held at the NoxInn Deluxe Hotel. In this organization, where the tourism and agriculture sectors converged, local and international bartenders came together in Alanya. Cocktails prepared with tropical fruits during the competition were well-received by the jury and the audience.

WINNER OF THE COMPETITION: EGE KOÇ

21-year-old Ege Koç won the first-place prize with his cocktail titled “Tropical Harmony.” Koç highlighted local production and tropical agriculture by using mango, guava, and lychee fruits grown in Alanya.

Yakup Eren, who participated from Cyprus, came in second with his cocktail titled “Golden Night.” 

The third-place prize was awarded to Muammer Şahin for his cocktail titled “Anatolian Dragon.” Şahin blended the traditional flavors of Anatolia with tropical fruits.

The competition was organized in cooperation with the Antalya Bartenders Association, AYİY-DER (Mediterranean Food and Beverage Managers Association), and the Tropical Fruit Producers Association. The event took place with the participation of hotel general managers, food & beverage managers, industry representatives, and the Alanya protocol from both domestic and international locations.

The competition's host, NoxInn Deluxe Hotel, played a significant role in the successful completion of the event. The hotel stated that organizations combining Alanya's tropical fruit production with tourism contribute to the region. During the “After Party” held following the event, the finalist bartenders presented their cocktails to the guests.

Habip Çabuk, Deputy General Manager of Operations at NoxInn Deluxe Hotel, made the following remarks regarding the competition's contributions to Alanya: “Bringing this organization to Alanya was a project that brought agriculture and tourism together. We combined Alanya's tropical fruits with the creativity of the tourism sector. In this way, we made the efforts of local producers visible and added value to regional tourism.”
