New management determined following TÜMÖD's 20th General Assembly

The Association of All Academic Staff (TÜMÖD) successfully held its 20th General Assembly meeting in Ankara on January 27, 2026.

The association stated that it will continue its activities to enlighten the public in line with the protection of democratic rights and freedoms and the defense of Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions.

NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS DETERMINED

Following the elections, the members of the TÜMÖD Board of Directors were determined as follows:

President: Prof. Dr. Tolga Yarman

Vice Presidents: Prof. Dr. Hülagü Kaplan, Prof. Dr. Duran Bülbül

General Secretary: Lecturer Suay Karaman

Deputy General Secretary: Asst. Prof. Dr. Müge Bahçeci

General Treasurer: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Güçlü

Member: Lecturer Ataman Özdemir

The Supervisory Board was also formed through the elections held at TÜMÖD's 20th General Assembly. The names serving on the new board are as follows:

Head of the Supervisory Board: Prof. Dr. Uğur Adnan Sevil

Members: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abidin Müslüm Baysal, Lecturer Mehmet Arslanyığit

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED

The Advisory Board consists of the following names for the new term:

Head of the Advisory Board: Prof. Dr. Recep Akdur
