Single mothers' voice in Parliament: Parliamentary question submitted
The issues raised by the Single Mothers Association at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on March 13 have been brought to the parliamentary agenda today. A parliamentary question has been submitted for the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, to answer.
The Single Mothers Association visited the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on March 13. During the visit, the problems faced by single mothers were shared with members of parliament.
In the meetings held by the association, issues regarding care labor, problems with caregiver leave, and the inequalities faced by single mothers were brought to the agenda.
THE ISSUE BROUGHT TO THE PARLIAMENTARY AGENDA
Following the visit, it was stated that the issues raised were taken up by the Parliament. It was expressed that the topics regarding the problems experienced by single mothers have begun to be addressed through official processes.
A parliamentary question has been submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, to answer regarding the matter.
