Who will they support in the election? The Yoruks have announced their conditions

The AKP has nominated Aydın Ayaydın, a former CHP member, as its Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate for Muğla. The CHP, meanwhile, has not yet announced its candidate for Muğla. The Yoruks are among the groups that will influence the election results. Ramazan Kıvrak, the leader of the Yoruks and President of the Fethiye Yoruk Turkmen Association, explained to 12punto the criteria they are looking for in the candidates they will support.

Criticizing the political parties' headquarters for nominating candidates from outside the cities in the local elections, Kıvrak stated that they are waiting for all candidates to be finalized. Kıvrak spoke as follows:

“I am against this election system from the start. The people should make their own decisions. Therefore, unexpected votes may be cast in these elections. Let the candidates be clarified and announced.

We do not like separatist parties. As for other parties, everyone is free to go where they want. Our friends have their own minds and ideas. Our conditions are clear:

They must be honest and not steal or embezzle.

They must be hardworking.

They must be respectful of nature and fair. They must not discriminate against people.

They must be local and national.

If it is a person from the region, they do not sell off or squander the region. If it is an outsider, they sell it off and squander it.

We are not an association for praising or disparaging a party. We have our own principles. Our friends may support parties that are close to us within the framework of our principles.

We do not have a candidate. When determining candidates, they do not ask us, 'My brother, who do you want? Is there a candidate from the Yoruks? Is there anyone who wants to enter the council?' There will be consequences for this.
