12punto verifies: The 'autonomy tweet' that Mustafa Destici called 'fake' turns out to be real!

Following the martyrdom of 9 soldiers in clashes with PKK terrorists in the Claw-Lock Operation region in northern Iraq, Great Unity Party (BBP) leader Mustafa Destici targeted 25 different political parties, alleging that the opposition supports terrorism.

Following the controversial post, videos of Destici praising the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) were shared on social media, and it was revealed that he had also made a post in 2012 stating, "We can accept autonomy."

In the post in question, it was seen that the phrases "So that mothers and fathers do not cry, we can accept autonomy (for that, we continue to meet in Oslo, with Apo, and with Kandil)" were used.

DESTİCİ CALLED IT A 'FAKE TWEET IMAGE'

The post, which was shared from Destici's account and later deleted, drew a backlash on social media. Mustafa Destici issued a statement regarding the matter.

In a post on his social media account, Destici said, "First of all, our stance before and after the practice called the 'solution process' is clear and evident. Let those who are in cooperation with the political extensions of the terrorist organization, or those who walk the same path as those in cooperation, know this regarding our recent posts about them exploiting our martyrs; those who attack us with a 'fake' tweet image—which is not even irony—that we know which circles and which agents served up at 02:00 this morning: this mud will not stick to us, this slander will not hold against us."

"WE HAVE ALSO NOTED THOSE WHO ATTACKED US"

In the continuation of his statement, Destici indicated that he would resort to legal means regarding the issue, stating, "We will, of course, settle accounts with the planners and intermediaries of this fraud before the judiciary. These traitors to the homeland, these terror-lovers; they will be convicted before the judiciary, just as they will be before history and the nation. Furthermore, we have also noted those who jumped at this ugly operation and those who attacked like vultures."

THE TWEET HE CALLED FAKE TURNS OUT TO BE REAL!

However, the post that Destici called a 'fake tweet image' turned out to be real.

Theologian and Author Cemil Kılıç quoted Destici's tweet in question and wrote, "Has BBP Chairman Destici advocated for the division of Turkey under the name of autonomy? Look at this!"

The tweet quoted by Cemil Kılıç was deleted shortly after.

DESTİCİ BLOCKED CEMİL KILIÇ

After deleting the tweet, Destici also blocked Cemil Kılıç. In his next post, Kılıç stated, "Mustafa Destici has blocked me too. He cannot obscure the truth by blocking."
