43 new names join MHP's Central Executive Committee at party congress

At the MHP congress held at the Ankara Sports Hall, voting for the MYK and Central Disciplinary Committee (MDK) members took place following the election for the party chairmanship.

The congress's presiding officer, Mevlüt Karakaya, announced that 1,244 of the 1,258 votes cast were valid.

As a result of the voting, 43 new names joined the MYK, while 32 members retained their seats. All 15 members of the Presidential Council were included in the new MYK.

The members who retained their seats in the MYK were Edip Semih Yalçın, İsmet Büyükataman, Feti Yıldız, İzzet Ulvi Yönter, İsmail Faruk Aksu, Mustafa Kalaycı, Mevlüt Karakaya, Sadir Durmaz, Yaşar Yıldırım, Kamil Aydın, İsmail Özdemir, Filiz Kılıç, Pelin Yılık, Tamer Osmanağaoğlu, Bahadır Bumin Özarslan, Fatih Çetinkaya, Abdurrahman Başkan, Mehmet Celal Fendoğlu, Hayati Arkaz, Özgür Bayraktar, Murat Kotra, Davut Haskırış, İbrahim Özbay, Ali Uçak, Seçkin Odabaşı, Ahmet Kürşat Azkur, Turan Şahin, Turan Şener, Volkan Uygunuçarlar, Ahmet Selim Yurdakul, Fevzi Altuntaş, Yavuz Tellioğlu.

Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, Chairman of the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation, as well as MHP Mersin Metropolitan Mayoral candidate Serdar Soydan and Kırklareli Mayoral candidate Derya Bulut, who were in the previous MYK, did not retain their seats in the new committee.

The 43 new members of the MYK are as follows:

The new MDK members consist of Abdullah Bahadır Alperen, Kürşat Türker Ercan, Ahmet Korhan Mastı, Hilal Elmas, Tülin Tuncay, Nihat Ünver, Fikret Gökberk Osmanağaoğlu, Hatice Akkaya and İlker İpek.

Additionally, 25 substitute MYK members and 5 substitute MDK members were elected at the congress.

Following the conclusion of the congress, the Presidential Council will be formed from among the new MYK members.
